INTRODUCTION The creative industry is one of the important sources of economic growth and cultural proliferation for developed countries. For that reason, the government recognises that the people of this country are capable of making the creative industry as a source of employment and national income, thus achieving the economy's target of high-income nations. The New Media Design & Technology Division, Center for Arts Studies, University of Science, Malaysia, has urged the need for such conferences to respond to the government's call to improve the scholarly level of scientific scholarship and the latest research in the field is enhanced to a higher level. In addition, the creative digital field is an area in all aspects of life that contributes significantly to not only the job industry but also indirectly contributes to the conservation of the nation's and nation's heritage. Hence, the New Media Design & Technology Division, Center for Arts Studies, agreed to implement this dream which was the first time held in Malaysia. Under part planning, it is hoped that this conference will be held once every two years. |

AIMS The main focus of the conference is to explore donations given in the field of Creative Media, Design & Technology of human development in providing a useful impact to the community. This is in line with the rapid development of ICT that has struck the world that has helped improve the dignity of digital art development in Malaysia. This international conference focuses on three key areas of Creative Media, Design & Technology. These three areas have been selected based on contributions provided primarily in areas such as creative digital, advertising, new media, animation and so on. The conference also focuses on the outcomes and contributions provided by the practitioners in this field to realize their contributions to the community. A wide range of issues in the Media, Art and Technology Creative field, will be discussed by panel experts in the field. This conference is expected to bring the Universiti Sains Malaysia into an initiative to uphold the creative, creative and commercial values and combine art elements to a higher level. It is hoped that through the understanding and a combination of the latest information will be available later will pursue new ideas and innovations in the production of works or products for the benefit of society. The conference will also discuss various issues arising through the presentation of papers by academics, researchers, field experts, philosophers and high school students. Exhibition of new works and products will also be displayed for participants and the public. The conference also provides space for both postgraduate and international students to interact, share opinions and present their findings. |

OBJECTIVE Creative Media, Design & Technology Creative Conference is a very less-known conference in Malaysia especially at the international level. For that, the New Media Design & Technology Division, the School of Art and Universiti Sains Malaysia through REKA2014, is confident to be able to provide the best focus and direction for energizing higher education as well as providing new insights and ideas and innovations in education, research and publications quality and international standard. REKA2014 also promote the sharing of knowledge and knowledge in Creative Media, Design & Technology, research and commercialization of innovative and high-quality products / artworks. Through discussions and exchange of opinions and experiences among experts in higher education as well as experts in the creative industry, this venture will provide an exploration space of ideas and future artworks. REKA2014 also highlighted the involvement of high degree students through the presentation and involvement of academics, creative industry members and high-profile colleagues at the masters and doctoral level which provide a new experience and breathing to real reality between theory and practical in the creative industry. REKA2014 also extend further scientific writing in the creative industry through the selection of the best and most appropriate presentation papers for international publications. |
